For Modeling and other uses of Core Data: A brief description of the planned data use:

FAIR USE – We are using the Fair Use policy statement of Harvard’s Atmospheric Sciences data site as stated: “Kindly keep us informed to how you are using our data and of any publication plans. If we feel that we should be acknowledged or offered participation as authors, we will let you know and we assume that an agreement on such matters will be reached prior to publishing the data. If your work directly competes with our analysis we may ask that we have the opportunity to submit a manuscript before you submit one that uses our data.” In requests for core data, we agree to not distribute core data to anyone outside of our lab group. OK

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT – We are using the acknowledgement for papers and presentations formulated by the sponsors of the Aspen FACE facility.
Users of the Facility only are required to make the following acknowledgement: “Aspen FACE is principally supported by the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Biological and Environmental Research, Grant No. DE-FG02-95ER62125 to Michigan Technological University, and Contract No. DE-AC02-98CH10886 to Brookhaven National Laboratory, the U.S. Forest Service Northern Global Change Program and Northern Research Station, Michigan Technological University, and Natural Resources Canada – Canadian Forest Service.”
Users of the Core Data are required to make the following acknowledgement: “This research was supported by the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Biological and Environmental Research.

We request that all products (e.g. papers, presentations) generated from experiments or data associated with the Aspen FACE facility, and names and affiliations of personnel not identified in this proposal and joined in the research, are provided upon our request. OK

All users must follow the AspenFACE Facility must follow the site protocol, including the safety policy, and agree to review it here prior to use of the Facility each year. OK
